Where to Eat Gluten Free in Branson, KC and Bentonville

Where to Eat Gluten Free in Branson, KC and Bentonville

Being gluten free stinks. There, I said it. I have been gluten free for 9 years and finding places to eat when I travel is still a struggle. I'm hoping this list helps you or the gluten free friends you're forwarding this to find some delicious spots.

(Just a reminder, be sure to confirm everything with your server because menu items or restaurants can change.)

Branson

Local Flavor

This is one of my favorite spots in Branson for GF. They have a dedicated fryer for GF, meaning you can enjoy all of the fried things without worry!

Billy Gail’s

Billy Gail's serves a classic, hearty breakfast. While they don't have gluten free pancakes, I absolutely love their breakfast skillets.

Momo’s Sushi & Grill

A great option near Branson Landing, especially if you want something lighter. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful about what can be modified and how to reduce cross-contamination.

Ozark Mountain Pizza

They offer a gluten free crust, and it’s one of the better-reviewed options in town. A convenient stop if you’re heading in or out of Silver Dollar City.

Steamy Joe Café

A cozy breakfast spot with beautiful views. You can order a classic breakfast and substitute the bread for fruit for a filling and safe option.

Kansas City

Lulu's

Lulu's offers gluten free options that are always so tasty.

Billie's Grocery

This is the best gluten free bakery selection in KC. I don't know what icing they use on their cookies, but I think a witch put a spell on it to make you desire it for the rest of your life. They also have some gluten free meal options, but not as many as you'd think they would.

Fortune Wok (Overland Park)

Fortune Wok has gluten free fried Chinese food! Almost everything can be made gluten free, except the crab ragoons. I went here for my birthday, and they even brought me out a gluten free dessert!

Louie's Wine Dive

I love their gluten free fish and chips and cheese curds! (I am not sure if they have a separate fryer.)

Morgana's

I haven't been yet, but it's on my list! It is a gluten free bakery.

Strip's Chicken

This is the best fried chicken I've ever had, and their fries are amazing!

Bibibop

This is a chain, but it is 100% gluten free. It's like an Asian Chipotle where you choose your protein, carbs and toppings as you go.

Bentonville

Stoic Brewing: 100% Gluten Free

This 100% gluten free brewery has great beers and amazing gluten free food.

Crepes Paulette: A Personal Favorite

These crepes are made right in front of you, with both sweet and savory options.

The Buttered Biscuit: Best Gluten Free Breakfast Ever

I can confidently say this is the best gluten free breakfast spot I have ever been to, anywhere. They can make almost anything on their menu gluten free, including things like cinnamon rolls and beignets!

These are just a few of my favorites in Bentonville. For more, check out my blogpost Gluten Free in Bentonville.

Explore More of Kansas and Missouri! Hello and Happy Spring! We just got home from Spring Break and are getting back into the swing of things before I head out to travel again. This week, I want to talk to you about my Kansas and Missouri maps. I asked 5,000 people what their biggest problems were that held them back from exploring more. One of the biggest issues was overwhelm and indecision. They said they wanted to find more cool places in their home state or fun stops on road trips, but...

Tips for Stress-Free Camping with Kids ⛺ I love camping… but I also love sleeping… and sometimes those two things are not aligned 😅 Over the years, I’ve figured out how to make camping actually fun (even with kids), and not just a “why did we do this again?” situation. I have found that the number one thing people complain about is sleep, so we go all out with a great air mattress for the adults (the kids sleep on the pads linked below and love those), we bring our favorite pillows, get comfy...
